Big Screen on the Green - Guardians of the Galaxy
Join Star-Lord and his gang of space-travelling outcasts with Big Screen on the Green - an exciting outdoor screening of Guardians of the Galaxy at the Eagle Farm Racecourse!
Released in 2014 to widespread critical acclaim, Guardians of the Galaxy marked another successful film entry to the ever-growing Marvel Cinematic Universe, which has seen the likes of popular Marvel superheroes Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, Captain America and more dazzle worldwide audiences on the cinematic big screen. The story follows Peter Quill - also known as Star-Lord - who bands together with fellow outcasts Gamora, Drax, Rocket and Groot to stop alien tyrant Ronan in his unyielding pursuit of a mysterious, all-powerful orb.
Guardians of the Galaxy raked in over $700-million worldwide, and was met with critical acclaim across the board for its entertaining characters, humour, visual effects and soundtrack, eventually earning the 87th Academy Award nominations for Best Visual Effects and Best Makeup and Hairstyling. It was the third-highest-grossing film of 2014, and was soon followed by an equally successful sequel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, in 2017.

Human Nature
Celebrating their 30th anniversary since their formation in 1989, Australian boyband Human Nature return down under for an exciting nationwide tour this autumn.
A prominent name on the Las Vegas live entertainment scene, Human Nature have charmed audiences worldwide with their talent and stage presence, singing songs from their bestselling albums as well as doo-wop covers of some of the most recognisable hits in contemporary music. The four-piece have 13 studio albums to date - two of which have received ARIA Platinum status - and were once the openers for global pop icon Michael Jackson on his famous HIStory World Tour in 1996 and 1997.
Human Nature have performed more than 1,700 shows with their headlining residency in Las Vegas, and this 2019, will be returning home to celebrate their 30th anniversary as a group. One of their Australian dates will be at the famous Brisbane Entertainment Centre, and for Queensland fans that have been waiting ever since their last visit, it’s not to be missed on April 27.
